PixelPal — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 August 2026

PixelPal is a virtual-pet game for children and families. It is built to be private by design: it collects no personal data whatsoever.

The short version: PixelPal has no accounts, no ads, no in-app purchases, no analytics, and no tracking. It does not require an internet connection and does not send any information off your device.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you or your child. There is no sign-up, no login, and no way for us to identify a user.

Where your pet's data lives

Everything about your pet — its name, stats, coins, badges, and progress — is stored only on your device, in its own local storage. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and it stays on the device unless you delete the app.

No third parties

PixelPal contains no third-party advertising, no third-party analytics, and no software development kits that share data. It does not link out to other services or websites from within the play experience.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, PixelPal sends occasional gentle pet-care reminders. These are generated on your device by iOS. No notification data leaves your device and none is sent to us.

Children's privacy

PixelPal is designed for children and meets children's privacy laws — including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the GDPR provisions for children (GDPR-K) — in the simplest possible way: by collecting no data at all. Because nothing is collected, there is nothing to share, sell, or expose.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Because PixelPal collects no data, we do not expect material changes.
